Sail the Nile with Travelsphere

Travelsphere, the award-winning guided touring holidays specialist, has launched a new holiday for 2023 which showcases the very best of Egypt, from the awe-inspiring Pyramids of Giza to the bustling city of Cairo and a relaxing cruise along the Nile.

Treasures of Egypt - Pyramids and a Nile Cruise is an eight-day journey of discovery, from £2,224 per person, that begins in Cairo with a visit to the Pyramids of Giza, the Great Sphinx and the Egyptian Museum which houses the largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities in the world.

After Cairo it is off to Luxor where Travelsphere customers embark on a luxurious cruise along the Nile onboard the Steigenberger Minerva. As the cruise makes its way down the River Nile, each day is filled with the must-see icons of Egypt all in the company of a Travelsphere Holiday Director and local guides who bring the history of the destination to life. The holiday takes in the Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut, a horse-drawn carriage ride to Edfu and ends with a visit to the Aswan High Dam.

The cruise along the Nile is luxury in its purest form, Travelsphere customers can relax and enjoy the breathtaking views and most spectacular sunsets from the expansive sun deck as they sail from Luxor to Aswan.

“Egypt has always been one of Travelsphere’s most popular destinations, and our newest holiday has it all, from taking in the bustling city of Cairo, seeing the Pyramids, to relaxing and watching Egypt sail by as we take our customers in style from Luxor to Aswan on a luxurious river cruise,” said Nicole Mason, Travelsphere’s Marketing Director.

“There is so much included in our Egypt holiday, from all flights, the company of a Travelsphere Holiday Director, and fantastic accommodation both in Cairo and on our river cruise ship which includes all meals while on board, along with a sumptuous afternoon tea. And don’t forget that Travelsphere holidays are all about the bigger experiences with smaller groups, so on this holiday the maximum group size will be 35 people, which allows everyone to really immerse themselves in the destination,” added Nicole.
