Travel Requirements & Visa Service
Where can I go?
International travel is back on for 2022 - but there are local requirements that you need to be aware of before you travel. The great news is that since 11th February, all testing requirements have been removed for eligible fully vaccinated arrivals back in the UK, with only a simplified passenger locator form required (PLF), confirming vaccination status, travel history and contact details.
Before you travel
In some cases, destinations may still require a PCR test or lateral flow test to accompany your proof of vaccination status before you visit. We recommend that you order either test well in advance of your departure date. Click here for a list of Government approved providers.
If you’re fully vaccinated with two doses of an approved vaccine, some destinations allow you to enter the country without showing a negative COVID-19 test result. Instead, you’ll be asked to show proof of your vaccination status. An NHS COVID Pass shows your COVID-19 vaccination details or test results – this is your status. Find out how to get a Covid pass here.
We have partnered with Sherpa, an on-line self service tool that allows customers to search up-to-date information regarding travel entry requirements for all countries. Just scroll to the bottom of this page, press Edit my Trip and enter where you would like to travel to.
Using the Sherpa travel guide, you can access the latest information on entry requirements, travel restrictions, quarantine policies, visa and e-visa conditions and various health declaration forms to destinations all around the world, in one convenient virtual location. The entry requirements shown will always show the latest information and are updated constantly - so if you have booked or are looking to travel on a later date - please ensure you check closer to your departure date.
The NHS Covid Pass may well be mandatory to access indoor and outdoor venues which might be busy - so in case your tour includes attending such a venue, it is recommended you have this ready. Find out how to get a Covid pass here. If you cannot access online services, you can also call 119 to request a letter that will provide evidence of your vaccination status.
The Visa portal is easy to use and can be found below plus on all of our Tour Pages and destination pages. You simply need to enter which country you want to travel to and get information on safety regulations, border closures, quarantine requirements, their travel visa and more. This tool makes life easy for everyone – you can use Sherpa to navigate through the travel checklist, before booking or leaving home, so you are aware of the restrictions and conditions for each destination.
If you prefer, you can also refer to the Foreign Travel Advice section on the gov.uk website: https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice. Click on your destination and then click on 'Entry Requirements'.
