Head over the Italian border to San Remo

"Join us on our optional excursion as we venture over the Italian border to the charming town of San Remo, the capital of the Italian Riviera. Known as the Town of Flowers, the resort boasts exquisite gardens and parks. This international resort is located on a wide, sheltered bay and the delightful old town, La Pigna, is characterised by perched houses and small squares. Our tour also includes a visit to the beautiful Hanbury Gardens, created by Londoner Sir Thomas Hanbury in the 19th century. This botanical paradise features plants from tropical and subtropical regions all over the world.

These unique gardens dating from the 1860s are well worth visiting and the meandering, sloping paths mean people can undertake as little or as much as they like. There is something to see at every point in this very special garden.
