Lusumpuko Women’s Cooperative

The Lusumpuko Women’s Cooperative is a women-led enterprise in Victoria Falls offering traditional meal experiences for travellers. Revenue generated through tourism supports the livelihoods of single mothers and widows, while also contributing to essential community initiatives, including local healthcare, education, and broader social support for women in need.

The Lusumpuko Women’s Club experience in Victoria Falls is a traditional Zimbabwean "Lunch Club" that offers travellers an authentic cultural immersion through a farm-to-table meal. The experience begins with a warm welcome and a demonstration of local eating customs, followed by a meal prepared with seasonal ingredients like sadza (maize staple), sugar bean stew, and traditional relishes.

More than just a dining event, it is a women-led social enterprise where members - primarily single mothers and widows - share stories of resilience.

When you join our Livingstone's Africa tour you will visit Lusumpuko Women’s Coop and directly support the community by providing financial independence for the cooperative's 29 members.
