"After my youngest child started school my husband and I bought a small hotel in Cornwall which we ran together, I was the chef. We went on to also run a restaurant and after 12 years we sold up and I was soon looking for another career. My dream job came up, I applied to Travelsphere to become a Tour Manager.
"Over twenty years later it's still my dream job. Taking British customers around the world has been a great privilege, particularly as no matter where you travel, guides, hotels and coach drivers always love having a Travelsphere group."
"I always dreamed of travelling the world when I was a lad growing up in Wensleydale and started my quest by emigrating to Australia in 1987 to work as an electrician. After a few years on cruise ships I eventually found my calling and for the last 14 years have been sharing my love of travel as a tour manager. Amongst my favourite destinations are South America, Australasia and Canada, where the scenery is superb.
"I used to think that I loved my job as a Tour Manager because of the places I visited but I’ve come to realise that it was actually the people who I showed these amazing places to that made my job so rewarding."

"I have always taken great pleasure in working with people and I am very proud to show them this beautiful part of the world that I now call home.
"I love to wear the traditional dirndls, I ride a Harley Davidson in summer with my husband and ski all winter - my two favourite hobbies - and I still have a very strong Lancashire accent despite 30 years away!"
