Senang Hati is a nonprofit organisation in Ubud that empowers differently-abled people through skills training in hospitality, arts, sewing, and woodworking. By providing the right tools and opportunities, they help their members build self-confidence, independence, and brighter futures.
As part of your journey in Bali, you’ll visit Senang Hati and enjoy a traditional Balinese lunch prepared, cooked, and served by the members themselves. This immersive experience not only connects travellers with local culture, but also showcases the talents and determination of those often marginalised within society.
With support from Planeterra, Senang Hati’s facilities now include a fully accessible “dream kitchen” designed to meet the needs of members using mobility devices. Each traveller visit provides vital income that sustains their training programmes, helping to break down stigma and build an inclusive community where everyone has the chance to thrive.
