Itinerary

Depart on your scheduled flight to Singapore, arriving on day 2.

This morning we include a tour of Singapore. Highlights include Merlion Park, with the iconic Merlion statue, and the Thian Hock Keng Temple. The afternoon is free for you to explore at your own pace. Why not head to the iconic Raffles Hotel and enjoy their signature cocktail, the Singapore Sling.

Enjoy a leisurely morning on day 4, before flying to Cairns, gateway to Australia’s incredible Great Barrier Reef. You will arrive into Cairns on the morning of day 5.

Explore a whole new world today on our included trip by catamaran to the outer Great Barrier Reef. Marine life comes incredibly close to the platform and you can also view the reef from a semi-submersible. Alternatively, you can go snorkelling amongst this amazing underwater world – equipment and guidance is provided. Lunch is also included on today’s tour.

You can spend today at leisure. We also offer a range of optional excursions, including a visit to Daintree Rainforest or a ride on the Kuranda Railway.

After your flight to Melbourne join our included city tour to visit the site of Captain Cook’s cottage and catch a glimpse of the old gaol where the notorious outlaw Ned Kelly was executed.

You have two free days to explore Melbourne.
You might choose to join our optional excursion to Phillip Island, home to one of the largest colonies of little penguins in the world. Every sunset, these creatures emerge from the sea and waddle across the beach to their sand dune burrows in a delightful ‘penguin parade’.

You’ve a free morning before flying to Sydney for a four-night stay. On an included tour you’ll see the Sydney Opera House, Bondi Beach, Darling Harbour and more.

Enjoy three free days in Sydney. A range of optional excursions will be on offer, including a harbour cruise and visits to the Blue Mountains and Featherdale Wildlife Park.

You’ll leave Australia this morning and fly to Queenstown in New Zealand, for a three-night stay. Enjoy an orientation tour on arrival. This evening, why not enjoy an optional dinner cruise on Lake Wakatipu aboard the TSS Earnslaw steamship to Walter Peak.

Today we include a real highlight of your holiday – a full-day excursion to Milford Sound – one of the most beautiful locations in New Zealand. Weather permitting, you’ll take a boat trip on this stunning fjord.

Enjoy a day at leisure. This evening you may choose to join an optional stargazing experience with dinner.

The road through the Westland National Park has to be one of the most scenic ever built. Your journey continues as you travel north to the magnificent scenery of the Franz Josef and Fox Glacier regions. Why not take an optional helicopter flight over the glacier (weather permitting).

You’ll travel to Christchurch today – which you may choose to enjoy on an optional journey on the TranzAlpine train, which offers spectacular views of the Southern Alps. On arrival in Christchurch enjoy a city tour.

The emerald-green North Island was shaped by the fire of volcanoes, and evidence of this remains in the thermal springs surrounding Rotorua, which is your destination today. This evening, experience a traditional Maori concert and sample a ‘hangi’, which is a meal cooked by steam underground.

During a free day in Rotorua we offer a range of optional excursions. You could choose to board a float plane or helicopter to Mount Tarawera, or perhaps you’ll choose to take a tour of Hobbiton, the location created for the Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit films.

Boiling mud pools and spouting geysers add a touch drama today on our included visit to Te Puia Thermal Reserve. Later, you’ll head to Auckland, stopping at the world-famous Waitomo Caves en route – a labyrinth of limestone caverns illuminated by glow worms. We include a city tour of Auckland on arrival.

Auckland is the largest city in New Zealand, situated on North Island. Enjoy the day exploring at your own pace.

You’ll transfer to the airport on day 24 for your flight back to the UK, arriving on day 25.

Optional Excursions

Experience even more of your destination by adding one or more optional excursions to your holiday before you set off. Right now is the perfect opportunity to do that – with everything booked and paid for you’ll have even more to get excited about and all you’ll need to think about while you’re away is having a great time.

By the way - look out for ‘Optional Excursion Packages’. For some holidays we’ve grouped a selection of excursions into a package which means you can make a saving when you book in advance.

Prices shown may vary according to departure date and are subject to change.  The full range of excursions will be detailed in your holiday information pack, sent approximately 15 weeks prior to departure.
