Travelsphere Adds 50 New Holidays for 2016
From the Philippines to Peru, pioneering escorted tours company, Travelsphere has launched 50 new holidays across its long and short-haul range for 2016 and 2017.
Made up of 7,000 islands, the Philippines heads the list of brand new destinations that Travelsphere will be offering in 2016. The two week adventure begins in the Manila, the bustling bay-side capital of the Philippines, discovering the old and the new with a visit to the UNESCO-listed San Augustin Church, the legacy to Spanish colonisation and a tour of the Makati, the financial heart of Manila.
After Manila, Travelsphere will take you to the north of the country visiting the magnificent Lake Taal described as a ‘lake within a volcano within a lake within a volcano’. The adventure heads to the south and the island of Bohol and its famed Chocolate Hills, 1,260 cone-shaped hills, before reaching the final destination, the beautiful island of Cebu.
“Travelsphere’s first ever holiday to the Philippines is certainly one of a number of highlights of the 68 long-haul destinations that we now have on offer. Among the other new holidays that have launched is a Canadian Arctic Summer Safari, where you can get up close to polar bears, beluga whales and bison, you will even learn to howl like a wolf,” said Travelsphere’s Head of Product, Christina Hunter-Locke.
“Travelsphere also has a number of special departures that will coincide with festivals and world events, for example you can travel with us to Indonesia to watch the solar eclipse, head to Brazil for the Rio Carnival or to India for the Pushkar Camel Festival,” added Ms Hunter-Locke.
For the first-time visitor to Japan, the new Gardens and Geishas – A Taste of Japan holiday, takes in everything that you want to experience in Japan with stays in Tokyo and Kyoto, visits to the geisha district and a ride on a bullet train.
Travelsphere’s Trans-American Adventure crosses the USA from east to west in the best way possible by road and rail, calling at New York City, Chicago, Las Vegas, Palm Springs and Los Angeles, with visits to the Grand Canyon and the Mojave Desert.
Bulgaria and the Canary Islands are among Travelsphere’s 30 new short-haul destinations along with extra holidays for 2016 in Croatia and an Arctic Snow Castle Experience in Finland.
