Itinerary: This popular action-packed break features a lovely combination of invigorating activities, fascinating visits and a great selection of included walks and cycle rides through the beautiful Gelderland province, situated just a few miles from the Veluwemeer Lake.
Highlights: Five walks are included with highlights including a half day excursion through the beautiful De Hoge Veluwe National Park, which contains one of the country’s largest areas of woodland. A full day city tour to Amsterdam, visiting the Palace on the Dam and the House of Anne Frank.

Itinerary: Situated right in the heart of England, the Peak District has been a mecca for walkers for centuries. The stark beauty of the rolling moors and dramatic limestone outcrops is complemented by charming towns like Bakewell and Buxton. Two walks are included – a full day around the picturesque Ladybower Reservoir in the Peak District National Park (approx. 5 hours) and a scenic three hour walk around the village of Laughton.

Accommodation: Seven nights’ half-board on Lake Trasimeno.
Itinerary: Italy’s beautiful Umbria region is famed for its scenery and staggering varieties of plants and flowers. Lake Trasimeno, the fourth largest of the Italian lakes is surrounded by hilltop towns, rolling countryside, beautiful woods and slopes covered with olive groves and vineyards and is ideally placed for an excellent selection of walks and excursions to Orvieto, Perugia and Assisi.
Highlights: A boat trip to Isola Polvese – an uninhabited island which offers fabulous walks, with a few surprises along the way, including a monastery and a restored 14th century castle. A leisurely eight mile walk, taking approximately three hours from La Goga di Magione to Caligiana, offering amazing views of the Magione Castle and the 13th century Lombardi Tower

Accommodation: Nine nights’ full-board. Four nights Beijing. Overnight Qinghuangdao. Two nights Zhun Hua. Overnight Huany Ya Guan. Overnight Ji Shan Ling.
Itinerary: The celebrated Great Wall which dates back around 2,600 years, winds like an immense dragon some 3,800 miles through the hills of northern China. For generations it has attracted visitors from all over the world, eager to immerse themselves in the Wall’s incredible history. For this holiday, specific sections of the wall have been chosen to provide a unique and varied walking experience suitable for all levels. The tour also includes four nights in Beijing with an included city tour, plus gives you the option to add on a two night stay in Xian from £299.
Highlights: Journey by train and road to Shanhaiguan, the point at which the Great Wall meets the sea. It juts out over 60ft into the ocean and is often referred to as Old Dragon’s Head. Two hour walk from Tai Ping Zhai to Huang Ya Guan, located in the mountains and built more recently between 1403 and 1424. Five hour walk to Ji Shan Ling which architecturally is delicately structured and unique in design with 35 watchtowers and a viewing tower constructed on a sheer precipice almost 3,000 ft above sea level.
