Croatia visitors urged to sample seafood

People planning touring holidays and other breaks in Croatia have been encouraged to take the opportunity to sample the country's seafood.
Meri Matesic, director of the Croatian National Tourist Office in London, said that the king prawns on offer in the Kvarner region are regarded as some of the best in the world.
As well as savouring the local cuisine, travellers who have the chance to explore Kvarner during their time in the country should not miss the chance to take in some of its spectacular views and landscapes, according to Ms Matesic.
"Head to Ucka Nature Park and enjoy stunning views of Kvarner Bay from its Vojak Peak," she said.
"And of course a must-do is to try great Kvarner king prawns, which are considered the tastiest in the world."
The tourist board director also recommended Opatija, which is one of several picturesque hotspots along the Adriatic coast that travellers can visit.
