Accommodation

You will stay in the recently refurbished four star Cande Onura Hotel in Kusadasi. Ideally located on a hillside overlooking its own beach, the hotel off ers a choice of restaurants, bars, shops and pools, as well as a range of water sports and a Turkish bath. All meals are included, as are all soft drinks, local beers and wines.

Itinerary

DAY 1 - UK/Kusadasi
Depart on your scheduled flight to Izmir. On arrival transfer to your hotel for a seven night stay.

DAYS 2 to 7 - Kusadasi
You are free in Kusadasi to relax and enjoy the hotel’s superb facilities, or you can join our superb range of optional excursions, which show you the best the region has to offer:

Pamukkale & Aphrodisias - This full day excursion starts with a visit to the ruined city of Aphrodisias, named after Aphrodite, the goddess of love. You will then visit the fascinating geological formations of Pamukkale, where calcium deposits from hot springs have created a magical-looking landscape before heading to the ancient city of Heiropolis, sat at the top of the springs.

Jeep Safari - Take an exciting 4x4 jeep safari through small villages and stunning scenery for fantastic sea views and time to relax on a beach.

Boat Trip - Take a relaxing full-day trip by boat along the beautiful Aegean coastline, stopping to enjoy the beaches and lunch in secluded bays.

Sail to Greece - Board the local ferry head to the Greek island of Samos, just 12 miles away. You will have plenty of time to discover the harbour-side bars and restaurants of Samos Town before returning to Kusadasi aboard the ferry.

Ephesus - Spend a day visiting Ephesus, the most famous of all ancient sites in Turkey. You will explore the Basilica of St. John, the House of the Virgin Mary, the Museum of Ephesus plus much more.

Pirene, Miletos & Didyma - This fascinating full-day excursion takes you to these three ancient towns, with lunch included in Didyma.

Sirince - Visit this typically Turkish village, whose name means ‘pretty’. There will be a short tour of the village and a visit to one of the houses before sampling a traditional Turkish pie and locally produced wine.

Other optional excursions available include a trip to an aquapark, scuba diving, Turkish bath and a visit to the Soke Market outlet stores.

DAY 8 - Kusadasi/UK
Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.
