DAY 1 - UK/Belfast
Depart on your scheduled flight to Belfast. On arrival transfer to your hotel in Belfast for an overnight stay.
DAY 2 - Donegal
Drive west towards Donegal. Your journey takes you south of Lough Neagh, through the rolling countryside of County Tyrone. Enjoy wonderful views of Lough Erne, before we make a stop at the Belleek Pottery Works, famous for the fine Parian China. Free time in Donegal town before continuing to your hotel in the Donegal area for a three night stay.
DAY 3 - Donegal
Free to relax or join an optional full day scenic tour along the dramatic Atlantic coastline and into the beautiful Glenveagh National Park. Situated on the eastern side of the Derryveagh Mountains, the park is an unspoilt landscape of peaks, lakes and woodland.
DAY 4 - Donegal
Optional three-quarter day tour visiting nearby Slieve League, one of Europe’s highest sea cliffs, to admire breathtaking views over the Atlantic before heading to the old fishing village of Glencolumbkille and the folk museum. We return to the hotel via the famous Glengesh Pass.
DAY 5 - Londonderry & Giant’s Causeway
Today we drive north-east through County Donegal and back into Northern Ireland. We make a stop at Londonderry, where you will have time to explore, before heading on to the incredible Giant’s Causeway. Free time to have lunch and marvel at this extraordinary natural rock formation, before continuing past Ballymena to Belfast for a two night stay.
DAY 6 - Belfast
This morning we include a Belfast city tour, taking in Belfast Castle, the Cathedral and Queens University. Stroll through the Victorian streets and head for Belfast’s main shopping street, the Lisburn Road. You can also visit St. George’s Market near the waterfront, where you’ll find antiques, craftwork and much more.
DAY 7 - Carrickfergus/UK
Morning free before an included afternoon visit to Carrickfergus. Here you can take a tour around the Castle, explore the impressive new waterfront or take a stroll around the marina. Transfer to the airport early evening for your return flight to the UK.
