Ocean Majesty

All cabins are well-appointed and pleasantly furnished. Each cabin has its own private shower, washbasin and wc, telephone, satellite TV with film channel, three radio channels of entertainment and air-conditioning. Cabin categories J and K have DVD players and DVDs will be available for hire on board.

If you intend to make the most of the ship’s facilities and the shore excursions on offer, you may only need your cabin to be a base in which to settle at night. The most economical option is an inside two-bedded cabin, on Jade deck in category A. However, if you think you will want to spend more time in your cabin, you may want to pay a little more for an outside cabin with a window or porthole, or for a cabin on a higher deck. Categories D and E have a porthole, and all other categories have a larger window. A limited number of double beds are available in category I, and all category K cabins are double bedded. In some cabins in categories A, F, G, H, I, and J an additional upper berth is available, and an additional two upper berths in some cabins in categories A and G. In these, there will be a reduction of up to 60% for extra adults sharing a cabin with two full fare paying passengers. Single cabins are available in categories D and E. Some twin cabins are also available for single occupancy in Categories A to I at a supplement of 75% on the prices shown in the price panels.

Whichever category you choose, everyone on board enjoys access to all the ship’s facilities, as well as the attentive service of a cabin steward who will see to your every need throughout the day – a level of service unique to cruising.

A supplement of £25 per person is payable if you wish to choose a particular cabin number.

The small and friendly Ocean Majesty offers all guests a warm welcome. The on-board facilities include a swimming pool, small gym, five bars and three lounges. All are air-conditioned and provide something for everyone – from the Show and Majestic lounges that are the heart of the entertainment, to the Observation lounge, which is a relaxing place offering wonderful views and evening piano music.

From Vigo we can visit Santiago de Compostela, an important medieval pilgrimage destination that still attracts thousands of pilgrims each year, eager to visit the Cathedral of St. James.

Sunday 13th - Cruising at sea

Monday 14th - Funchal, Madeira
Arrive 1000 – Depart 1700

From the pretty capital Funchal, our wide range of optional excursions will show you the immense natural beauty of the island.

Tuesday 15th - Santa Cruz, La Palma
Arrive 1000 – Depart 1800

Look out for the Church of San Salvador and the full-scale replica of Columbus’ flagship, the Santa Maria.

Wednesday 16th - Santa Cruz, Tenerife
Arrive 0800 – Depart Midnight

Tenerife offers year-round sun, fine beaches and stunning coastal scenery. Optional excursions include Mount Teide National Park to see the striking volcanic beauty of the island.

Thursday 17th - Las Palmas, Gran Canaria
Arrive 0800 – Depart 2100

Visit a banana plantation on one of our optional excursions or relax on one of the wonderful golden beaches.

Friday 18th - Arrecife, Lanzarote
Arrive 0800 – Depart 1700

Arrecife, the capital of Lanzarote, is a quiet and beautiful city with a historic centre full of shops, museums and attractive buildings. Why not take an optional excursion to the Timanfaya National Park to see the amazing volcanic rock formations?

Saturday 19th - Cruising at sea

Sunday 20th - Cadiz
Arrive 0800 – Depart 1500

Visit the Moorish style Almeda de Apodaca Gardens, or go to the historic town of Jerez de la Frontera to see how sherry is made.

Monday 21st - Lisbon
Arrive 0800 – Depart 1400

Portugal’s elegant capital boasts plenty of shops and cafés. Optional excursions include a city tour, a visit to Cascais, the Palace of Queluz in Sintra, Cape Roca or some of Lisbon’s beautiful gardens.

Tuesday 22nd - Cruising at sea

Wednesday 23rd - Brest
Arrive 0800 – Depart 1600

Brest is home to several museums and an aquarium. Just outside the city you can find sandy beaches, grottos and tall granite cliffs. Join our optional excursion to the pretty town of Quimper.
