A few miles from Piraeus lies Athens, home of the Acropolis, site of many famous temples including the Parthenon. The lively tavernas of the old Plaka district are a must, as is the changing of the Evzone guards.
DAY 6 - Kusadasi (for Ephesus)

Close to Kusadasi is ancient Ephesus, site of the Temple of Artemis, the Temple of Hadrian, the Fountain of Trajan and the House of the virgin mary.

DAY 7 - Mykonos

Mykonos has many charms, from its beautiful harbour to the maze of whitewashed houses.
Santorini †

White-walled villages dot the landscape, and a wealth of pretty churches adorn the island.
DAY 8 - Katakolon
Arrive 1430 – Depart 1930
This tranquil port boasts delightful shops and cafés overlooking the beach. Join the optional excursion to Olympia to see the Doric Temple of Zeus, the Temple of Hera, and the Stadium.
DAY 9 - Messina, Sicily

Ancient Messina, historically Sicily’s greatest port, is situated on a beautiful natural harbour. Its long and turbulent history is reflected in its fascinating architecture and the city’s museum houses a fine collection of paintings.
