You’ll find everything you need for a supremely relaxing cruise aboard the wonderful Orient Queen. The Mermaid Restaurant offers excellent cuisine, with a wide range of international cuisine. The Stars Show Lounge offers great entertainment and there is a choice of bars. Orient Queen also boasts two swimming pools, a jacuzzi, fitness centre, sauna and even mini-golf.

Itinerary

DAY 1
Depart on your scheduled flight to Marseille, then transfer to the Orient Queen for a ten night cruise. Depart 1800

DAY 2 - Genoa
Arrive 0800 – Depart 1500
From bustling Genoa you can discover the beautiful italian riviera, home to delightful resorts such as rapallo and Portofino, or discover the charms of Genoa’s old town.

DAY 3 - Naples
Arrive 1300 – Depart 1800
Seek out the bustling streets and piazzas of shops and cafés in this colourful city. Sights include the splendid cathedral or the museo Archeologico Nazionale.

DAY 4
Cruising at sea.

DAY 5 - Piraeus (for Athens)
Arrive 1300 – Depart 1900
A few miles from Piraeus lies Athens, home of the Acropolis, site of many famous temples including the Parthenon. The lively tavernas of the old Plaka district are a must, as is the changing of the Evzone guards.

DAY 6 - Kusadasi (for Ephesus)
Arrive 0730 – Depart 1300
Close to Kusadasi is ancient Ephesus, site of the Temple of Artemis, the Temple of Hadrian, the Fountain of Trajan and the House of the virgin mary.

Patmos, Greece †
Arrive 1700 – Depart Midnight
The beautiful island of Patmos is home to the massive, pirate-proof St John’s monastery.

DAY 7 - Mykonos
Arrive 0700 – Depart Midday
Mykonos has many charms, from its beautiful harbour to the maze of whitewashed houses.

Santorini †
Arrive 1730 – Depart 2200
White-walled villages dot the landscape, and a wealth of pretty churches adorn the island.

DAY 8 - Katakolon
Arrive 1430 – Depart 1930
This tranquil port boasts delightful shops and cafés overlooking the beach. Join the optional excursion to Olympia to see the Doric Temple of Zeus, the Temple of Hera, and the Stadium.

DAY 9 - Messina, Sicily
Arrive 1400 – Depart 1930
Ancient Messina, historically Sicily’s greatest port, is situated on a beautiful natural harbour. Its long and turbulent history is reflected in its fascinating architecture and the city’s museum houses a fine collection of paintings.

DAY 10
Cruising at sea.

DAY 11 - Marseille
Arrive 0900
Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.
