Orientation walk to Nea Moudania & the Market - Our walking tour will take you into the centre of the picturesque harbour town of Nea Moudania, where you can enjoy a visit to Halkidiki’s largest market, watch the boats come and go, or relax over a refreshing drink in one of the friendly tavernas, cafés and bars. Thessaloniki - A full day excursion to the capital of Macedonia and one of the oldest cities in Europe. A short sightseeing tour with a local guide will show you the main sights including the Church of St. Dimitrios, the archaeological museum and the ancient city walls. Then you are free to have lunch and explore the delightful old town at your own pace, or perhaps stroll down to the harbour front, before the coach trip back to your hotel.
Mount Holomondas - A scenic tour through the evergreen forests of the Holomondas Mountains to discover Halkidiki’s rural way of life. You will stop in one of the villages to meet the local people in a traditional coffee house or taverna with time to enjoy a traditional souvlaki lunch.
Sithonia Peninsula - Explore the natural beauty of Sithonia which lies between the Toronean Gulf to the east and the Singitic Gulf to the west. Pine trees rise up towards the azure sky behind the white sandy beaches lapped by clear turquoise waters. You can sunbathe, relax at one of the beach bars, or enjoy the watersports, horse riding and cycling.
Petralona Caves - On the west side of Katsika Mountain, the cave was first excavated in 1965. You can see the famous fossils, human, animals bones and artefacts dating back over 600,000 years and admire the jewel coloured stalagmites and stalactites.
