Secrets of Luxembourg

You will stay at the popular family-run 3-star Grand Hotel de Vianden or similar. The hotel is ideally situated in the centre of the town. Your hosts, the Peverelli family, will ensure you have a most enjoyable stay. Hotel facilities include a large restaurant, bar, lift and terrace. All bedrooms are comfortably furnished with private facilities and TV. Your hotel will be confirmed in your final documents.

Day 1: UK/Vianden

Local departure and an afternoon crossing to Calais. Evening arrival in Vianden for a four night stay.

Days 2 - 4: Vianden

Free to relax and enjoy our excursion programme.

Meals: Breakfast / dinner

Little Switzerland & Echternach (included)

A half day tour of the Mullerthal region, known as ‘Little Switzerland’. We stop in the beautiful town of Echternach, which retains a remarkable medieval atmosphere.

Luxembourg City & the Moselle (optional)

A full day tour to see the best of the southern region of Luxembourg. We visit Luxembourg City for a guided tour and Wormeldange in the wine growing region, where we visit a wine cellar and enjoy a tasting. We round off the day with a relaxing boat trip on the River Moselle.

Trier (optional)

A three-quarter day tour to Germany’s oldest town, Trier, where you can enjoy a stroll through the historic old centre.

Day 5: Vianden/UK

Depart after breakfast for a late afternoon crossing back to the UK and continue to your original departure point in the evening.
