The MV Serenade I is chartered exclusively for Travelsphere's sister company, Page & Moy. On each cruise aboard this fourstar cruiser you will be accompanied by two Page & Moy cruise representatives.

Day 1: UK/Cologne

Depart 04:00

Your holiday begins with a flight from the UK to Dusseldorf followed by a transfer to join the MV Serenade I, moored in Cologne.

Day 2: Koblenz

Arrive 13:00 – Depart 08:00

Depart Cologne early this morning, arriving in Koblenz at lunchtime. Enjoy exploring 2000-year-old Koblenz with a fascinating, optional walking tour of the city.

Day 3: Rüdesheim

Arrive 14:30 – Depart 07:00

Step ashore this afternoon in the pretty wine-producing town of Rüdesheim. Sample the local Riesling wines and admire the views of the vineyard clad slopes. Join our optional excursion to the eccentric Siegfried’s Mechanical Music Museum.

Day 4: Mainz

Arrive 09:30 – Depart 17:00

Mainz is well known as the home of John Gutenberg, the inventor of the printing press. Really get to know this university town and its impressive past with an optional walking tour of the city.

Day 5: Miltenberg

Arrive 06:00 – Depart 13:00

Spend the morning exploring the historic sights of Miltenberg, an old walled town built on a slope beneath a fine castle, with an optional walking tour. During your time in Miltenberg, why not visit the Weinhaus, a 500-year-old inn.

Day 6: Würzburg

Arrive 06:00 – Depart 12:00

We have the whole morning to explore this architecturally rich city on our optional tour including the impressive UNESCO World Heritage site of Würzburg Residence, perhaps Europe’s finest Baroque palace.

Day 7: Bamberg

Arrive 06:00 – Depart 13:00

Join our optional walking tour this morning to see the lovely parks, buildings and fountains in the town, including a trip to the cathedral. Explore the antique shops or maybe visit one of the town’s breweries to sample the beer.

Day 8: Nuremberg

Arrive 23:00 – Depart 13:00

Explore the ancient city of Nuremberg with an optional walking tour taking in the medieval town and Our Lady’s Church, a fine Gothic cathedral. Board the ship for a relaxing cruise along the river to Regensburg during the afternoon.

Day 9: Regensburg

Arrive 09:00 – Depart 18:00

Enjoy an optional tour of this beautifully preserved and UNESCOlisted medieval city, or alternatively join our optional visit to Weltenburg Abbey. We set sail early evening along the scenic Danube towards Passau.

Day 10: Passau

Arrive 08:00 – Depart 16:00

We spend the morning in Passau, where the Danube, Inn and Ilz rivers meet. Enjoy exploring the town at leisure before sailing through the Danube scenery to Vienna.

Day 11: Vienna

Arrive 12:00

Arrive in Vienna today and enjoy the fabulous palaces and beautiful gardens of the Imperial city, be sure to join a guided tour of its highlights or even the elegant Schonbrunn Palace. A concert featuring the works of Strauss and Mozart will be on offer this evening.

Day 12: Vienna

Enjoy the day at leisure to explore Vienna and its many treasures at your own pace. Alternatively you may prefer to see a little of the Austrian countryside on an optional tour to the Vienna Woods.

Day 13: Vienna/UK

Today we transfer you to the airport for your journey back to the UK.

Please note: At certain times of the year and depending on the level of the river, access to the deck may be restricted as the boat passes under bridges. This is purely for safety reasons. You can of course still enjoy the views from the lounge or your cabin. While the boat is in port, you will always have access to the deck.
