You will stay in a comfortable 3-star hotel within the Brodenbach/Koblenz area such as the Hotel Anker in Brodenbach or the Hotel Simonis on the outskirts of Koblenz. Both hotels are ideally situated for exploring the Moselle area. Your room will have private facilities, TV and telephone. Your hotel will be confirmed in your final documents.

Overnight hotels en route will typically be comfortable 2-star standard, conveniently situated for onward travel to your final destination.

Day 1: UK/Northern Germany

Local departure and an afternoon crossing to Calais. Evening arrival at your hotel on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2: Moselle Valley

We enjoy a tour of the area before continuing to your resort. Welcome drink and dinner included.

Free to relax and join our excursion programme.

Moselle Explorer

A full day tour through the beautiful Moselle Valley, visiting the romantic old town of Cochem with its imposing castle and Bernkastel, synonymous with the famous wine label. On the way back we will stop in pretty Winningen for a tasting of the delicious local wines.

Koblenz & Moselle river cruise (optional excursion)

- A threequarter day excursion to discover Koblenz, with its spectacular castles, grand town houses and old narrow streets before taking a short cruise on the Moselle river.

Day 5: Moselle Valley/UK

Depart after breakfast for a late afternoon crossing back to the UK. Return to your original departure point in the evening.
