Paris & the Tour de France

You will stay in a comfortable 2 star hotel in the suburbs of Paris, such as the Campanile Paris Est Bobigny. All bedrooms have private facilities, telephone and TV. Hotels will be confirmed in your final documents.

Day 1: UK/France

Local departure and an afternoon crossing to Calais. Continue to your hotel on the outskirts of Paris, arriving early evening for a three night stay.

Day 2: Paris

Today you’re at leisure in Paris to make your own discoveries of this magical city. We offer two optional excursions today:

Meals: Breakfast

Capital Tour

This comprehensive full day excursion takes you on a panoramic tour of Paris to see the main sights, including the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Notre Dame and the Champs Elysées. There will also be some free time to explore at your own pace, perhaps finding a café in which to enjoy lunch and a drink, before your return transfer to the hotel.

Paris by Night & Montparnasse Tower

Experience an evening in the city, taking in the superb panoramic views from the top of the Montparnasse Tower.

Day 3: Tour de France

After your transfer into the centre of Paris this morning, you are free to enjoy the 20th stage of the 99th Tour de France. The riders will have covered an incredible distance of 2,200 miles over the last three weeks. The grand finale sees them entering Paris to complete laps of the traditional circuit around the Champs Elysées. It’s a breathtaking sight as the peleton whizz past at incredible speeds in pursuit of the finish line. Transfer back to the hotel this evening.

Depart after breakfast for a late afternoon crossing back to the UK and return to your original departure point in the evening.
