Magnificent Maggiore

The small town is a delightful combination of narrow streets, small squares and traditional buildings and the cool, clear waters of the lake wash the shore in front of the pretty promenade. The focal point for the community is the charming church, from which Winston Churchill was just one of many artists to gain inspiration.

It is an ideal spot for relaxing by the lake and enjoying the genuine hospitality of the local people. It is also a good base from which to explore the many attractions in the region and there are regular ferries to other lakeside resorts in the surrounding area.
