Accommodation throughout the tour is in comfortable medium grade hotels with bar and restaurant. All bedrooms feature private facilities, TV and telephone.

In Alghero you will stay in the 4-star Hotel Rina, located within walking distance of the old town. There is an outdoor swimming pool. Bedrooms feature private facilities, TV, telephone and air-conditioning. Some have a balcony.

On Corsica, you will stay at the friendly, 3-star family-run Hotel L’Atrachjata, in the Aleria area. The hotel has a bar and breakfast room, and evening meals are taken in a nearby restaurant. The spacious guest rooms feature private facilities, TV, telephone, mini-bar and air-conditioning.

Returning to Sardinia for your final night, you will stay in the 3-star Hotel Su Baione to the south of Olbia. Guest rooms feature private facilities, TV, telephone and air-conditioning.

Day 1: UK/Cagliari

Depart on your scheduled flight to Cagliari on Sardinia’s southern coast. Transfer to your hotel in Alghero for a three-night stay.

Day 2: Alghero

Join us on a fantastic excursion to Alghero exploring the best of this beautiful coastal town including the harbour, cathedral Santa Maria and Piazza Ginasio in the heart of the old town. We continue to the dramatic Capo Caccia. Situated on the south of a huge limestone triangle that wedges into the sea, the cliffs are sure to be a highlight of your holiday photos.

Day 3: Bosa

Join our three-quarter-day optional excursion enjoying the views of the scenic Riviera di Corallo drive and then free time in the picturesque riverside town of Bosa.

Day 4: Bonifacio

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive along the northern coast to Santa Teresa Gallura, before taking the ferry across to the French island of Corsica, just a few miles away (crossing time approx. 1 hour). On arrival in Bonifacio enjoy free time to explore this stunning fortified town. Dramatically situated on a limestone peninsula, there are spectacular views of the Mediterranean from the impressive Citadel plus a delightful harbour and marina. From Bonifacio, we continue to our hotel in the Aleria area for a three night stay.

Bastia Peninsula

A full-day tour featuring a scenic drive along the spectacular coastline to Bastia, famous for its wines, and the fishing port of St. Florent.

Hidden Corsica

A half-day scenic tour into the very heart of the island with its unspoilt mountain scenery, streams and woodland. You can’t help but be impressed by the lush, green surroundings, towering mountains and attractive towns and villages that you journey through.

Day 7: Olbia

Transfer to Bonifacio for the return ferry crossing back to Santa Teresa Gallura. From here we enjoy a scenic drive along the fabulous Costa Smeralda coastline with its turquoise waters. We call in at the popular resort of Porto Cervo, the playground of the rich and famous developed by the Aga Khan in the 1960s before continuing to our hotel south of Olbia for your final night stay.

Day 8: Cagliari/UK

Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.
