Riviera Highlights

You will stay in the comfortable 3-star Hotel Moresco or similar. The facilities include a restaurant, bar, terrace and swimming pool. All bedrooms have private facilities, satellite TV, telephone.

Your stay includes a welcome and farewell drink plus buffet breakfast and a choice of evening dinner menu with salad buffet and wine. There will be a music and dance evening on one night, plus other events as detailed. Hotels will be confirmed in your final documents.

Overnight hotels en route will typically be comfortable 2-star standard, conveniently situated for your onward travel to your final destination.

Day 1: UK/Northern France

Local departure and an afternoon crossing to Calais. Continue to the Reims area of France for an overnight stop on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2: Southern France

Our journey continues to the south of France for our overnight stay.

Day 3: Diano Marina

Continue south where we enjoy a beautiful scenic drive to Italy and arriving at Diano Marina for a seven night stay. Welcome drink followed by dinner.

Days 4 - 9: Diano Marina

Free to relax and enjoy our excursion programme. On the morning of day 4 we include an introductory walking tour of the resort.

Alassio

A half day tour along the Ligurian Coast to the popular resort of Alassio with its stylish shops, long sandy beach and wonderful promenade.

Ventimiglia & Dolceacqua

Enjoy a threequarter day excursion visiting Ventimiglia’s outdoor market and the 12th century village of Dolceacqua.

Nice & Menton

We cross the border into France on this full day tour. Visit one of France’s greatest resorts - Nice, the capital of the Riviera. Continue to the picturesque town of Menton, set between the Mediterranean and the Alps where you can enjoy a stroll by the marina or wander through the quaint streets lined with lemon, orange and olive trees.

Bay Cruise

Enjoy a different perspective of the Italian Riviera on our cruise around the bay of Diano Marina, including a glass of sparkling wine (operates June to September weather permitting).

Monaco & Monte Carlo

Enjoy a full day trip to this tiny principality. Despite its small size it has become one of the world’s most elegant playgrounds of the rich and famous. Attractions include a beautiful marina, the world famous casino and not forgetting the shops and cafés.

Portofino

This full day tour takes us to the delightful little port which nestles in a natural bay on a spectacular coastline. Make sure you indulge in the local speciality - Paciugo ice cream in the quayside square.

Day 10: Northern France

Time to leave the Riviera and head back to northern France for a final overnight stay on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 11: Northern France/UK

Continue to Calais for a late afternoon crossing back to the UK, returning to your original departure point in the evening.
