Today we include a fascinating walking tour of the old town in the company of a local guide. Krakow is home to some wonderful sights, such as the Royal Castle in Wawel, the celebrated Cloth Hall, the beautiful old Kanonicze Street and the magnificent Market Square, dominated by St. Mary’s Church. Our tour then takes us to Nowa Huta, a purpose-built suburb of Krakow constructed as a hub of socialist values. We enjoy a fascinating tour of the town, which was built to house the workers from Poland’s largest steelworks. This evening we offer an optional folklore evening with dinner and drinks.
