Highlights of the Dolomites

You will stay at either the Hotel Lady Maria or the Hotel Panorama, two of our most popular 3-star standard hotels. The Hotel Lady Maria is located in the village of Fondo. The Hotel Panorama is located high on a hill with fantastic views of the village of Malosco.

Both hotels are run by the English speaking Bonvicin family and offer the same high standards of comfort and traditional Italian hospitality, much appreciated by our clients over the years.

Both hotels have a range of facilities, bar, restaurant, lift and all bedrooms are comfortably furnished with private facilities.

Day 1: UK/Northern Germany

Local departure and an afternoon crossing to Calais. Continue to northern Germany for an overnight stay on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2: Southern Germany

We continue our adventure today as we travel to the the southern area of Germany for an overnight stop.

Day 3: Dolomites

Continue south on our drive through Austria into Italy to arrive in the Dolomites for a seven night stay.

Days 4 - 9: Dolomites

Free to relax and enjoy our included programme of excursions.

Lake Garda

Full day tour to see some of the beauty spots around this fabulous lake, surrounded by lush groves of olives, vines and citrus trees. We stop in the delightful resort of Riva del Garda with time for shopping or relaxing in the lakeside cafés and maybe a boat trip on the lake (at extra cost).

Merano

A half day visit to this Alpine spa resort with its lovely riverside promenade and numerous little shops. On the way you’ll drive through some of the region’s most breathtaking scenery.

Dolomites

This super full day tour takes you through dramatic Alpine landscapes with jagged snow-capped peaks, which reach 10,000 feet, and colourful meadows alive with wild flowers.

Verona

A full day excursion to the home of Romeo and Juliet and one of the finest Roman arenas in Italy. There will be plenty of time to stroll around the town and relax at one of the many delightful pavement cafés.

Passo Mendola

This scenic half day tour takes you to the top of the nearby pass for spectacular views of the valleys of the South Tirol, with the opportunity to take an optional funicular railway ride. We have left a day free for you to enjoy the beautiful local scenery – don’t miss the pleasant stroll from Fondo, through the gorge to one of the region’s secrets – Lake Smeraldo. Cycle hire is available and a free guided walk of the area will be organised by your Tour Manager. We also include a cookery demonstration in the hotel where you can watch the chef prepare a typical Trentino dish.

Day 10: Northern France

Time to leave Italy and head back via Austria and Switzerland to northern France for a final overnight stay on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 11: Northern France/UK

Continue to Calais for a late afternoon crossing back to the UK, returning to your original departure point in the evening.
