Marrakech is a dramatic and captivating city, perfectly positioned for those looking to explore the rich and romantic culture of Morocco. Situated at the foot of the mountains you are also well positioned to explore the mountain region and discover the wonders they offer.
On day 2 of your holiday in Marrakech enjoy an included city sightseeing tour which will help you to get your bearings of this vast city and allow you lingering glimpses of all the main sights. The tour takes you to the beautiful Bahia Palace, built with the intention of capturing both the Islamic and Moroccan styles of the 19th century. We then visit the vibrant Jewish Quarter and the labyrinth of souks selling everything imaginable from leather to spices. You will also spend time at leisure in Djemma El Fna square, the true heart of the city and the main focal point for all activity for locals and tourists alike. The area is busy and lively at any time of day but as evening falls and dusk washes over the square the area becomes alive with food stalls, entertainers, fortune tellers, snake charmers, musicians and a wealth of other spectacles.
Absorb yourself in the sights, sounds and tastes of this vibrant and exciting city. Marrakech is truly enlightening with something new to discover at every turn.
On days 3 to 5, to complement your Moroccan adventure, we feature three optional excursions which will allow you to discover more of the country.
