we(3) have just returned days ago from the dolomites xmas markets trip dec9 to 14,which was subject to somewhat harsher weather(snow) conditions than might be expected at that time. we travelled on a hardings coach with their driver Phil and your tour manager Richard.

we wish to say that due to their good offices, and no doubt much support from the travelsphere infrastructure we did manage to safely arrive at the panorama hotel in Malosco. the excellent driving was down to Phil, but Richard assisted him greatly when it was necessary to fit snow chains. richard also had a good command of the foreign tongues we encountered on our journey and smoothed our passage due to his ability to converse and comprehend the french, german and italian he met. he was an excellent guide who had good knowledge of the background, and history of places passed by and through, and also kept us amused with quizzes and jokes.
he obviouly worked well behind the scenes briefing yourselves of the conditions out there, and he informed us as relevant, regarding any decisions made....the decision made to leave early and travel to munich, and then strasbourg salvaged our trip from not being able to go to the intended markets in bolzano and merano (seems the conditions closed them anyway) and sit almost enforced in the hotel panorama. the backup plan was a master stroke, which ensured our coach would be able to reach calais for the booked ferry, and the munich xmas market, particularly, was a delight,

overall i feel we got the best of both worlds,as we saw the extreme snow conditions in the dolomites, which exceeded my memory of the winter of 1947. and then with the judicious departure,we saw, probably, better markets than the standard trip would have provided.

throughout Richard showed great professionalism, humour, and attention to the wide diversity of niggles a group 40 individuals tend to throw up.

A sincere vote of thanks to both Richard and Phil we offer here, and we'd be quite happy to travel with either or both again.

We have emailed Hardings coaches to praise Phil's driving capability and thanks for a safe journey.

My husband Barry and I Pat, have just arrived back from the Austrian Lakes tour. This was a great tour, the food excellent and room was very comfortable. The tour guide called Daniel was the most comical, and knowledgeable guide that we have come accross. The included tours were as always 1st class, as were the optionals.
All in all we had a lovely time, made all the better for meeting up with Jackie and Paul. This couple made our holiday complete so if you read this Jackie and Paul, a big thank you to you both.

Regards Pat and Barry.

It was fantastic, excellent food, comfortable room, comical tour guide called Daniel. The excursions included were really great value for money, as were the optional tours. All round it was a great holiday that we would recommend to all!
We found a lovely couple called Jackie and Paul Jackson, and we spent many happy hours in their company...they really made our holiday complete. So if you read this Jackie and Paul, a big thank you!
