DAY 1 - UK/Bangkok
Depart on your scheduled flight to Bangkok.
DAY 2 - Bangkok
Arrival in Bangkok. Transfer to your hotel for a two night stay. Rest of the day free to relax.
DAY 3 - Bangkok
Included this morning is a sightseeing tour of Bangkok visiting the Grand Palace and the beautiful Emerald Buddha Temple. During the evening there will be a special Thai dinner with a performance of traditional dancing.
DAY 4 - Luang Prabang
Morning flight to mystical Luang Prabang in northern Laos for a two night stay. Situated in an idyllic mountain setting at the confluence of the River Nam Khan and the mighty Mekong, this World Heritage Site has been declared the bestpreserved traditional city in Southeast Asia. Comprehensive included sightseeing begins this afternoon.
DAY 5 - Luang Prabang
Enjoy further sightseeing in Luang Prabang, the former capital of Laos, with its amazingly well-preserved centre consisting of many stunning architectural sights. A picnic lunch by the river is followed by an afternoon visit to Ban Phanom, a weaving village populated by the minority Lu people.
DAY 6 - Vientiane
At leisure in Luang Prabang, before flying to Vientiane, the intriguing capital of Laos situated on the Mekong for an overnight stay. Your sightseeing tour includes a visit to the gigantic That Luang Stupa, the national symbol of Laos.
DAY 7 - Hanoi
You fly to Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, for a three night stay. This afternoon you will visit the city’s lakes, parks and elegant French colonial mansions.
DAY 8 - Hanoi
Today’s walking tour of Hanoi takes you to see the Ancient Quarter, One Pillar Pagoda and Ba Dinh Square. This evening enjoy a traditional Water Puppet show.
DAY 9 - Hanoi
This morning enjoy a scenic drive to beautiful Halong Bay for a boat cruise amongst the dramatic limestone peaks with a seafood lunch on board.
DAY 10 - Hue
Today you fly to Hue the former capital of Vietnam for an overnight stay. Here you will visit the Thien Mu Pagoda, the royal tombs and enjoy a cruise on the Perfume River.
DAY 11 - Hoi An
Morning visit to the Citadel, seat of royal power in ancient times, before you depart on the beautiful coastal drive to Hoi An for a two night stay.
DAY 12 - Hoi An
Hoi An is a picturesque, ancient riverside town and the most enchanting place on the Vietnamanese coast. Today’s walking tour is followed by a guided cycle ride into the countryside this afternoon.
DAY 13 - Saigon
Morning at leisure before transferring to Danang airport for the flight to Saigon for a two night stay.
DAY 14 - Saigon
A morning tour of Saigon includes visits to the Presidential Palace, War Museum and the former Rue Catinat, as well as passing the Notre Dame Cathedral, before an afternoon drive to see the amazing Cu Chi Tunnels.
DAY 15 - Can Tho
This morning you drive to Cai Be for a cruise into the Mekong Delta with lunch at a farmer’s house. After disembarking at Vinh Long, you take the ferry to Can Tho for an overnight stay on the banks of the Mekong.
DAY 16 - Phnom Penh
After a morning boat trip to the floating market at Cai Rang, you return to explore Can Tho before driving to Chau Doc for a river cruise to Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia where accommodation has been arranged for a two night stay.
DAY 17 - Phnom Penh
Sightseeing in Phnom Penh includes visits to the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, History Museum, the waterfront and Wat Phnom.
DAY 18 - Siem Reap
You fly to Siem Reap for a two night stay and a first visit to the extraordinary Angkor Wat, an exotic temple complex, which has become the symbol of Cambodia.
DAY 19 - Siem Reap
Today you revisit the Angkor Complex, followed by dinner and a traditional dancing display this evening.
DAY 20 - Bangkok
You drive to Tonle Sap Lake and enjoy a boat trip to see the floating villages, before a late afternoon flight to Bangkok for a final overnight stay.
DAY 21 - Bangkok/UK
Transfer to the airport for your return flight. As you will be flying westwards your arrival is later the same day.
