Your base is the welcoming resort of Valkenburg in the rolling countryside of the Geul Valley, in southern Holland.

Accommodation

For a reasonable supplement you will stay at the popular higher graded Hotel Walram. The hotel is centrally located, and facilities include a heated indoor swimming pool, sauna & solarium, lounge & restaurant. All rooms include private facilities, cable television.

 

Itinerary

Day 1
Local departure and a mid-morning crossing to Calais. Early evening arrival in Valkenburg for a three night stay.

Days 2 & 3
Free to relax and enjoy our excursion programme.
The following excursion is included:
Dutch Bulbfields - Our full day excursion takes you past windmills, canals and bulbfields en route to the dazzling Keukenhof Gardens (entrance included) where flowers in their thousands, water displays and floral works of art thrill the senses.
The following excursion is optional:
Monschau - Quaint half-timbered buildings and narrow winding streets make this one of the prettiest towns in the Eifel area of northern Germany. Places of interest include the castle, the Monschau Brewery Museum, and the Glass Works. Alternatively, browse round the many craft shops or relax in a café on this half day trip.

Day 4
We stop off at lovely Bruges, before continuing to Calais for a late afternoon crossing back to the UK. Return to your original departure point in the evening.
